Classical Composer Notes
A serialized set of musical introductions, now gathered into one post and playlist
Over the past month, I have been writing daily Substack notes on composers you may not know. I shared one composer and a short piece for each letter of the alphabet, getting into some especially fun territory on the difficult letters. This was my second time doing this ABC challenge—you can see the whole first set of composers in two posts here and here—but I “serialized” this second collection. All 26 notes are now preserved below so you can explore and share the ones that catch your eye. You can also enjoy and save the complete playlist of 26 selections 🔉 here on Spotify 🔉.
There you have it! Did you meet anyone new above? Find a gem of a piece you had never heard? Learn a surprising fact from history? Let me know in the comments section below! Even better, click the share button on your favorite composer note above and text it to a friend so they can enjoy it, too.

Thanks so much for collecting them all in one post! I loved playing the piano music of Martinu and Ibert and I can't wait to discover Yun. Incidently, it was Martinu who sparked my interest in classical music when I was a teen.
Love this format. Recommending to my dad.
